  • "DAISUKI" (大好き) is a Japanese phrase that translates to "I love you" or "I like you very much" in English. For our brand, we chose for: I adore. It is an expression of strong affection or fondness towards someone or something. The word "DAISUKI" is composed of two parts: "dai" (大), meaning "big" or "great," and "suki" (好き), meaning "like" or "love." When combined, they form a term that conveys an intense level of liking or loving someone or something.

  • First light: When lighting your candle for the first time, make sure the entire top layer of wax liquefies. This will prevent the formation of a "memory ring," which can cause uneven tunneling instead of even melting. We recommend a 3-hours burn.

Wick: Keep your wick at a short length, for the happiest burn. After the first use, use a pair of scissors to trim the wick to the right length, ensuring a steady flame without any ash.

Optimal burning: For optimal burning, we recommend not exceeding four hours at a time. As you near the end of the candle's life, avoid burning it all the way down. Instead, replace your candle when only little of wax remains. To make sure the glass container stays intact.

    • Always keep a burning candle within your sight and never leave it unattended.

    • Ensure the candle is placed on a stable and heat-resistant surface, away from anything that could catch fire, such as papers, fabrics, bedding, books, drapes, or decorations.

    • Avoid placing the candle near drafts, such as open windows, air conditioners, vents, or fans, to prevent uneven burning and potential hazards.

    • Keep lit candles out of the reach of children and pets to avoid accidents.

    • If the candle flame becomes too high or flickers repeatedly, extinguish it immediately, trim the wick to the recommended length, and check for any drafts before relighting.

    • If you feel drowsy or may fall asleep, make sure to blow out the candle before resting.

    • Wait until the flame is completely extinguished and the smoke clears before placing a lid back on the candle.

    • In case a large wax pool forms during burning, gently blow out the candle to avoid wax splattering.
